ABOUT ME

Cory Van Lew is a contemporary artist known for his Blue Faces — a visual language exploring identity, spirituality, and human connection.

His work blends elements of classical art history with modern symbolism, creating figures that feel both timeless and present. Drawing inspiration from Renaissance painting, mythology, and personal experience, Cory builds worlds where emotion, color, and symbolism intersect.

In his recent body of work, Devotion, Cory explores spiritual archetypes — messengers, guardians, cherubs, and divine figures — as a way of understanding love, faith, and transformation. These works are not literal depictions, but interpretations of moments where something unseen becomes felt.

Across paintings, drawings, and murals, his practice moves between the intimate and the public. Whether on paper or on walls, the intention remains the same: to create images that invite reflection, connection, and a sense of presence.

Based in South Florida, Cory continues to develop his visual language while expanding into larger-scale works and public art.
